ebr 14949
I am connected remotely, I can play media from the server(FreeNAS plugin). I don't see a Fire TV connected there. What happens if you update to the latest server version?
riccote 2
I don't see a Fire TV connected there. What happens if you update to the latest server version? I am now at home and on my local network and it works fine. Not sure how to update the server since I'm using the FreeNAS plugin. acmby 1
Just to follow up on my experience, I ended up completely uninstalling and re-installing my Emby server and the issue went away. I'm able to play from my Fire TV app now. Not sure what was going on before but I had been upgrading/downgrading my server version a few times before trying to debug a different issue... Drazgo 8
If you go to the "Emby Premiere" page on your server, what is there? The problem is when we ask the server if you are Premiere it is telling us "yes". We need to get to the bottom of how that is happening. Are you using the official server downloaded from our web site? There is a key there on the emby premiere page on my server.... but there is a long string of invalid characters after it for some reason too... I removed the invalid characters now it says "You have a Lifetime Emby Premiere plan and your device usage is well within your limit." So I guess that was the issue... I will check out the firestick now and see what it says. Will let you know the outcome!! Thanks!
