thanks, but that's no option until plugins will work there.

Do you consider to apply my suggestion, starting the kodi sync after library scan?

If you look through the forums, there are a lot of people having the same problem in combination with Linux and Kodi, so this could solve it for all of them, couldn't it?

Unfortunately, I do.

Since I'm using CoverArt and a couple of movies are being added on library scan, Emby server crashes almost always (Only when Kodi clients are connected). I disabled the force of artwork caching on almost all clients, just 2-3 remain.

Upgraded my vps to 6 cores and 24gb ram without any change.

Ok. Thanks for reporting back. Do you get huge library updates? Did you ever provide your Kodi log from the time the server crashed?

no, not huge, it already crashes with 6 movies being added.

No I didn't send a Kodi log, yet. But If you want me to it's no problem :-)
