Resume of Audiobooks don't work

Hello there,

the Android App can't remember/start the playback position of an audiobook. This feature works correctly on the web client, I can start a audiobook and stop it. After that I can start the audiobook on the correct playback position again.

 

In the Android App I can see the picture of the audiobook and it shows me the actual position in my audiobook. After pressing the play button, the app starts from zero.

 

What is the problem? It's a bug or is it my fault? Is there a resume button and I use all the time the wrong?

 

Btw the play button on the bottom of the app don't work too. If I start an audiobook, the button turn to a button with a green dot outside. If I press the button again, the audiobook stops and the play button shows the green dot nevertheless. Sometimes the button show a pause symbol, sometimes play without green dot. I think there is a feilure with the button ;-)

 

My smartphone is a OnePlus 3 with Android 7.1.1
