QDivision 42 Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Hi, I've just done a complete fresh install of Emby server (also switched from Linux to Windows) and I'm having the same problem as before with Live TV images and a new one that has cropped up. Firstly The images being displayed on the home screen and in the Live TV section are wrong. Secondly for the channel logos, white space is being cut off form the images causing the aspect ratio to be different. See screenshots for examples of both problems. I'm running on Windows 10 Pro with DVBLink as my TV backend. Hope someone can help!
QDivision 42 Posted August 4, 2017 Author Posted August 4, 2017 It looks like the latest beta has fixed this issue, will wait for release to see if the problem is resolved.
QDivision 42 Posted August 15, 2017 Author Posted August 15, 2017 Sorry for the inundation of posts but trying to add a different topic per issue: This is following on from a previous problem of aspect ratio for Live TV but the problem remains for the recordings (see attached screenshot) Emby Server: 3.2.27.0 Windows 10 DVBLink Backend
QDivision 42 Posted August 16, 2017 Author Posted August 16, 2017 Another section where the aspect ratio is wrong (screen cap attached)
pünktchen 1339 Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 You should really provide some examples where it's obvious that the images are cutted off. Your screenshots look nice, so there's no problem.
QDivision 42 Posted August 16, 2017 Author Posted August 16, 2017 The above image should look like the following when you go into the detailed view.
pünktchen 1339 Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 I know what you mean and what Emby is doing, but you should provide examples that look ugly to convince somebody here's a problem. Something like this:
QDivision 42 Posted August 16, 2017 Author Posted August 16, 2017 I see what you mean. Thanks for the feedback!
QDivision 42 Posted September 4, 2017 Author Posted September 4, 2017 Any update on the aspect ratio problem?
Luke 38954 Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 @ what screen is there still an issue on? can you show an example?
Torence 0 Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 OK, all troubles about this problem has fixed in nowadays.
QDivision 42 Posted September 7, 2017 Author Posted September 7, 2017 (edited) @@Luke I can see 3 places where this is still a problem: Admin dashboard when there are active recordings Recordings section in Live TV Movies section in Live TV Thanks Edited September 7, 2017 by thomasorr
QDivision 42 Posted September 14, 2017 Author Posted September 14, 2017 Is this problem being looked at? Would be nice to see it get resolved. Thanks
Luke 38954 Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 Please try again with the next release of Emby Server, thanks.
QDivision 42 Posted September 15, 2017 Author Posted September 15, 2017 Thanks, I'll wait for the next release and report back!
QDivision 42 Posted September 21, 2017 Author Posted September 21, 2017 UPDATE: I've installed the latest release 3.2.31 and the recordings section seems to be fixed as well as the active recordings section in the dashboard. However the movies section under Live TV is still wrong.
manicpanic 0 Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 (edited) UPDATE: I've installed the latest release 3.2.31 and the recordings section seems to be fixed as well as the active recordings section in the dashboard. However the movies section under Live TV is still wrong. I'm also seeing a similar issue on Series Page in 3.2.32 Edited September 25, 2017 by manicpanic
Luke 38954 Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 What screens are you still seeing an issue with?
QDivision 42 Posted October 6, 2017 Author Posted October 6, 2017 The Live TV series recordings page as @@manicpanic said above and in the movies section of Live TV.
QDivision 42 Posted October 17, 2017 Author Posted October 17, 2017 is this being worked on? would be great to get these last 2 places fixed. Thanks!
pünktchen 1339 Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 I don't think so. They build it all around the core live tv and what images SchedulesDirect is providing.
Luke 38954 Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 You should be seeing 16:9 aspect ratios for all live tv programs except for movies. Is that correct?
pünktchen 1339 Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 You should be seeing 16:9 aspect ratios for all live tv programs except for movies. Is that correct? No, also for series schedules.
