chef 3746
I ran into an issue (before anyone says anything about users, this... And users, that... There is a legit reason for me to have this one user..) I accepted a ISP technician who came to service my setup. I wasn't going to, but he was a programmer like me and a super nice guy. Although I asked him pleasantly not to reveal my public domain to anyone (just use it for himself and his girlfriends enjoyment of... Whatever...). I recently found a rogue device in the list of devices. Where did it come from? when did it log on? There isn't anything in the logs that I can see. What account did it use? Was it used by my good friend the ISP technician? Was his account used? When was it first seen in my network? What IP did it come from? I wish I could monitor my setup 24/7 but that's impossible. Could some of this information be added to the device in the device list? Edited July 30, 2017 by chef
chef 3746
Ends up it was his chromecast, and a quick text message solved my problem. Still, might be interesting to has that data available.
