mbguy 40 Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 I don't know why and when, but recently my Emby for Kodi doesn't consistently connect to Emby Server on Windows anymore. Emby app for Kodi accesses the server just fine, so the problem is not on the server end. I already made sure Emby for Kodi is the latest version. I haven't made changes to settings for months so it's not due to settings change. If I reboot the Emby Server and restart the Android box a few times, at some point the Emby for Kodi will come alive again. I can tell because a few seconds after launching Emby for Kodi, the "server is online" status message comes on. I am out of ideas where and how to troubleshoot, any suggestions? Thanks.
Angelblue05 4131 Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 The only instance of this happening, would be a conflict between emby for kodi, and extended script info. Go to the emby addon settings > advanced. Add a 5 second startup delay. Does it correct this issue? If it doesn't please provide your Kodi log capturing this. We'll go from there.
