File mode as in set it where they are showing the same as your hdd. Say if you have action, horror, suspense, etc files it would show up like that on emby server.

 

Makes it a lot easier to search for movies etc.

it never works.. it only adds a folder section to the menu that's it

Once you click into the folders view, then you can browse each library by folders.

How are you expecting it to work? Can give an example for how it does not show your folder structure.

when i turn it on it shows folder in the menu, i click on it all i get is the same ting as the regular movies section, no folders at all, that's why i said it doesn't work....

Sorry we don't know what "doesn't work" means.

 

Click Folders I get a menu

 

Click Folder/Library Kids Movies I get Kids Movies (no enhanced menu options).

 

 

What exactly are you expecting?

What version of Emby Server? Are you testing in the web app or elsewhere? Thanks !
