CharleyVarrick 277
I just noticed the alpha picker is missing letter "A" and "#"" It's doing this in movie and tv shows Edited May 13, 2017 by jlr19
Luke 37116
Scroll down a little to make the header slide away.
CharleyVarrick 277
OK, if I scroll down "#" and "A" appears, but as soon as I stop scrolling, they're obscured again by the header (while there's plenty of blank space down after the "Z"
CharleyVarrick 277
I am guessing the gadget just needs to be brought a couple lines down in a next update.
Happy2Play 8296
What is the zoom of the browser? Are you using the any custom css on alpha picker? What browser?
CharleyVarrick 277
Another options to consider would be to thin down the header by raising submenu (whats in the middle, starting with "Suggestions") to the same height as the main top menu This would gives a little more usable real estate (vertical being the most precious). Happy2Play 8296
HI Happy, Firefox 53.0x64, zoom set to normal Don't know what you mean with "any custom css" Â If you didn't add the custom css to make the alpha picker bigger that I posted in css section then what resolution is that at? Â As they are by default tiny at my resolution. Â
CharleyVarrick 277
I have not added custom css to make alpha picker bigger. What resolution setting are you asking me about? If it my screen's, it's default recommended 1920x1080 Â Yours seems to start much lower than mine (look at my OP, the first cover is level with "G"), while yours seem to have around 3 blank spaces) Edited April 29, 2017 by jlr19
Happy2Play 8296
Mine resolution is 1920x1200.
Happy2Play 8296
Only other thing I can think of is what is your Windows Scaling set to? Only way I can get picker off screen like that is increasing scaling or zooming browser.
CharleyVarrick 277
I just tried with Chrome, seems alright (but Chrome is my #2 browser) Again my picker starts much higher than yours, but not enough that its hidden by the header like FF is

Windows scaling? Again, unsure what you mean by that.
CharleyVarrick 277
I just thought of something, someone on the forum here gave me a code to have my path / filename appear way on top (when in detailed view), instead of "14" pages down. Could that affect normal view? Â
Happy2Play 8296
Easy way to test is cut everything out of the Custom CSS box hit save and see if you still have the issues. Then paste the code back in css box.
CharleyVarrick 277
Is that what windows scaling setting looks like ? My Windows copy's French, but as you see, mine's set to medium 125% Â

CharleyVarrick 277
Yes that would be the scaling setting I was talking about. I notice mine's set to medium 125%, small 100% is tagged as default Your's too I'm assuming?  I'll set it back to default small in a moment, I'm in the middle of something and the change requires a reboot  We'll keep you posted! CharleyVarrick 277
Dashboard-Settings-Branding-Custom Css Thanks, ok so its not this, only thing it did is my path and file name went back south I already put it back like I prefer.
CharleyVarrick 277
With Windows scaling set back to default 100%, I do see the "#" and "A" (although not as down low as yours, but now unaffected by the pesky auto hide header My new problem is that now, EVERYTHING on my screen is much smaller, which was the whole point in cranking it up a notch. An important point to consider is that before yesterday's latest Emby update, I had scaling set to my preferred 125% scaling and seeing the whole Alpha picker. d00zah 128
No, but the retractable header not staying retracted & obscuring the alpha picker was introduced in FF with v3.2.13.0.
