compmania15 0
After a refresh of a m3u list the XMLTV channel maps are deleted. Any Work around? Thanks.
maegibbons 1267
Hi Looks similar to what i am experiencing here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/46405-latest-betas-break-xmltv-to-m3u-tvg-id-mapping/&do=findComment&comment=436682 You can try and install an earlier version - that works for me. compmania15 0
I think i figured it out by following this post. https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/20217-dev-embytv-a-livetv-client-for-network-tuners-hdhomerun-at-the-moment/ added the following to the m3u file then refreshed it and it seems to be holding the EPG data now. tvg-id="1" tvg-name="ABC" The old channels were still in the database with a different channel-id assigned. to me it looks like if you don't have a tvg-id and tvg-name, the system assigns a unique channel Id every time the file is changed. Using it for Smooth Streams. Finally able to shutdown PLEX. Its also nice to be able to Reassign the channel numbers for SS up into the 9000 range instead of having the SS channels mixed in with my local channels. maegibbons 1267
ok Well tvg-id used to map directly to channel-id in the XMLTV. This has stopped working in latest releases. Krs Mark

compmania15 0
No Sir. Adding the tvg-id to the m3u file seems to have takin care of it. on a side note. Any chance the HDHomerum could look at a local lineup.xml file to remap channel numbers/Guide Id names off the HDHomerun? Thanks Matt
Luke 37116
We will probably just have an editor in the future.
compmania15 0
That would be awesome. On the HDHRViewer for Plex i just changed the code to point to a local xml file.
