earthtorob 5 Posted March 30, 2017 Share Posted March 30, 2017 When Emby records a Tv show or movie could the file be named something like this: My Show.ABC.Ch2.1.480i Maybe in the in the Live TV setting menu there could be an option to include details about the video added to the file name. Like: Network, channel, resolution. It could help those of us who use 3rd party transcoders determine which filters to apply. Emby wouldn't even have to analyze the video, since OTA broadcast have fixed video properties for each channel. Video transmission data could be stored in the same database that holds the other channel information and then just applied to the file name.
