cajacontrol 4 Posted March 22, 2017 Author Posted March 22, 2017 Hi, thanks for repply I istalled the plugin and paid 5us extra but dont work, can you help me how turn on? thanks
Koleckai Silvestri 1150 Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 (edited) You have to add the videos to your content. The addon will attempt to do this over time but if you are impatient then you can add them yourself in a directory called backdrops. Mine are mp4 videos. See this thread for additional help - https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/2007-movie-theme-videos-plugin-questions-and-support-thread/ Edited March 22, 2017 by Koleckai Silvestri

See this thread for additional help - https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/2007-movie-theme-videos-plugin-questions-and-support-thread/ Or you can go to the Scheduled Tasks in the Server Settings and manually run the "Download Theme" tasks for the plugins. Either way, you need to get backdrops onto the filesystem in the correct location. As mentioned, you can do it yourself if impatient, or run the scheduled task although the initial run may take a while as it downloads for your whole library. So the plugin is already "turned on", you just need to tell it to go "fetch" Edited March 22, 2017 by landgazr
ebr 15546 Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 That plug-in is not required for this feature. It just is a way of getting content for it. Not all Emby apps support the feature yet. It will work on Emby for WMC and, I think, the new version of Emby Theater.
cajacontrol 4 Posted March 22, 2017 Author Posted March 22, 2017 Thanks all for repply can you tell me where i should storage mp4 videos backgrounds? example: C:/video/backround or c:/titanic/ titanictheme.mp4 theme.mp3 Thanks ?
trifleneurotic 53 Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 (edited) If it is an audio-only MP3, put the theme in the same folder as the film, naming it theme.mp3. If it is a video backdrop, make a folder called backdrops and put the MP4 in there, naming it theme.mp4. For instance: -- Movies |-- Titanic (1997) <--- put theme.mp3 here |-- backdrops <--- put theme.mp4 here Edited March 22, 2017 by landgazr

cajacontrol 4 Posted March 22, 2017 Author Posted March 22, 2017 Thanks again: c:/titanic/ titanic (2007).mp4 Theme.mp3 /backdrop/ backdrop.mp4 ?
trifleneurotic 53 Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 (edited) Thanks again: c:/titanic/ titanic (2007).mp4 Theme.mp3 /backdrop/ backdrop.mp4 ? There are multiple ways to name and organize your media. Here are links to the guides: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/674-media-files-folders-structure/ The only thing I would recommend is putting the year of the film's release in the folder name too: --| Titanic (2007) -- theme.mp3 -- Titanic (2007).mp4 |-- backdrops -- backdrop.mp4 I'd highly recommend checking out the link above to be sure your media structure conforms.
