horstepipe 357 Posted March 13, 2017 Share Posted March 13, 2017 (edited) hey since I'm using Emby for Kodi paired with the gdrive plugin and strm-files, Kodi loses the connection to the respective database entry whenever I start a video. So when quitting a movie or toggle fullscreen to my movie's list after starting playback, the playing movie stands with "filename.mkv" instead of "movie name". So when I want to mark the movie as watched, I need to leave the movie list and enter it again, then Kodi shows up the movie title correctly again and the watched state is being transferred to Emby server correctly. This is quite annoying especially for tv shows, so I found out that there is a command Refresh.container which I put on a button so I don't need to re-enter the movie/tv show list anymore. So what I'd like to accomplish is execute the command automatically whenever I enter my movie/tv show list. Any thoughts about it? I think this doesn't deal with the Emby for Kodi plugin directly, but maybe you can help me anyway.
