Hi, 

i love emby and i have question 

how do i record live tv from m3u without tv guide (i dont have and cant get one)

its must be possible cause its a command running in the background ,no?

 

i will set the hours and the m3u link and execute command  ,is it possible?

Ok a quick google and there is a AZTV (israel)  xml epg grabber mentioned here:

Dont know if it would have the channels you want

Hi thnx i got my guide thru other xml tv grabber

now when trying to record its doing log rounding circle forever here is log

hi there @@eliranbd9, please attach the complete emby server log because I don't see the recording here. also, if you enabled recording conversion, there will be an ffmpeg recording log so please attach that too. thanks !

I think he updated the post to say that it works from chrome but not edge (browser issue) so he may regard it as solved.

Recording happens on the server, the browser wouldn't matter unless he was trying to play.

Hi thnx maybe it's just bug cause that's strait facts with no logic

I have records but can't fast foward with dlna agent . I tried with ps4 and Samsung smart TV, is it even possible ? Maybe I miss some checkbox or because I didn't convert it to mp4

Sure I realise that. From the screen shot he provided it was when he was selecting it to be recorded that it hung up.  I was only advising you that he had seemed to have found a workaround with chrome because I thought you had missed that bit.  Thats all.
