Hi there, I'm having an issue with this where sometimes clicking T brings me to A. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Why did you re-write my post? You removed the criticism I made and diluted the problem. I did not say this only happens occasionally and it doesn't just happen with the letter T. I asked if there is any quality control going on because it is frustrating how you roll out updates without any apparent beta testing. This is not a normal practice. My family complain that when changes are made some things get broken. We have never had these issues with Media Center and they feel Emby is an unreliable product and a poor replacement.

Is criticism not permissible? I can understand abuse and bad language being blocked but if you re-write a post because you don't like what is said then you are burying your head in the sand. Others feel as I do, that we need a reliable system that can fully replace MC. Emby is not it, but we persevere with it because it has great potential.

This is just a more polite version :) In any event, a fix has been posted and in the next day or two you should get updated with it. Thanks for the report.

You might need to grow a thicker skin. Forums like this generate straight talk and frustrations are aired in very brief context. It is important that we can do so and share so you get the way we feel. I am passionate about Emby and love it's potential. I have spent the past two months converting 1500 movies from dvr-ms to mkv. I have another 1500 to go!

Media Center was poor running through extenders compared to what we can do with Emby and Chromecast, remote access etc. I am sure you must feel unappreciated and do work hard on the system, but remember we are working hard too, after work, late at night, night after night trying to make this system work well for our families who have the technical nous of a chimpanzee. (I hope my wife doesn't read this). They just want it to work easily and think this should be simple. Yeah right!

I am sure you get where I am coming from and can only encourage you to see beyond our grumpy posts. Thank you for your hard work.

Agree. I had this exact same thing happen. In fact several times over the same thing. At that time, I said the metadata manager back then was slow and frankly sucked. This was edited back and forth, until I called luke out using some choice curse words. At that point I was banned. I was unbanned by abobader who runs the forum side of things. This left a very sour taste in my mouth then and does still today. To know it is still going on the same way is ridiculous. There is no need to edit criticism unless this is for political reasons, which clearly this is not. It bruises the ego, and gets through the skin. I agree the editing of others posts should never be done by developers. Leave the moderation to the guys with those titles. To change the tone of the post to fit your own is so fake. Its like that woman from teen mom, who got f-d in her a and got famous. She left fake reviews of her own yogurt shop and forgot to sign out. It isnt necessary to be so thin skinned as to stoop to this level.

I fully agree that unabashed criticism should be allowed.

I'm not sure that I fully agree with this. I think there is a line that we shouldn't cross and I didn't think I had crossed it. There should be no abuse and no foul language. I hadn't done that. We are all human though and if I was in their shoes there might be times I would get fed up with complaints and want to tell people to go suck an egg (see, you don't need foul language). But you have a point, it is the job of a moderator to manage the content, not the developers who may get offended from time to time.
