alguem 1
I had to downgrade Google Play Services because the last update crashes in ASUS TF101. After a factory reset, Emby crashes always on starting. Is there anything that I can do? I send the report from the app, when prompted. Thanks for your help. 470a64be-29e7-4d6d-a936-f625a7320a9f.log

alguem 1
First it was 6.0.1, and now I have 4.4.4. In both, Emby crashes when downgrading Google Play Services.

alguem 1
I don't know. I decided to downgrade the tablet to Android 4.4.4. Here also the app crashes on starting up. Â
spankys97 2
Did you find a fix, as I am having the same problem. Â I start Emby, push the Blue Live TV button, select a channel, and when I push play the circle goes round and round like it is trying to start, but then it crashes. Â Sometime ago it started crashing, but then I would quickly start the app again and it would play. Â I always had to start it two times, but now I can start it 5 times but it will not play. Â I see it has opened the stream on WMC PVR. I have loaded Kodi into my phone and use the Emby addon and it will work fine. Â I would rather use the Emby app though. Â Phone is Samsung S4 running 4.2.2 Android
spankys97 2
UPDATE: Â I have noticed if I go into the Emby server and select Use External Players, then go to my phone and start the Emby App, select a live TV channel and then a little window pops up asking which player I want to use, so I select Kodi or another that I have installed, then Emby plays Live TV and does not crash. Â Appears to be a problem with the internal Emby Player. Â I have uninstalled and re- installed Emby App, but it did not correct the situation. Â Please help. Luke 37138
hi @@spankys97, this topic is about app startup, it looks like you are discussing app playback. Can you please provide an app log? You can learn how to do that here: Â https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/15638-how-to-report-an-android-problem/ Â Thanks.
