Wintersdark 12 Posted February 12, 2017 Share Posted February 12, 2017 I understand why we cannot auto choose sub - it's been answered enough. My problem is related, but different. I have multiple lightweight TV's set up in my home network running on wifi with low power SBC's like odroid and Raspberry Pi's. These satellite systems transcode because I can't get wifi reliable and fast enough for multiple devices to stream high bitrate content simultaneously. My problem comes in that I'm usually starting shows on them via remote - currently using the web interface to cast to the relevant TV. This is because my children (too young to use a remote on their own) will ask to watch a show in a particular room, while I am busy elsewhere. I can start a stream from my desktop or phone, but then Kodi asks for the subtitle/audio stream on the local device. My children cannot select it, and I'm not there to do it. Is it at all possible to have the device casting the media choose the subtitle/audio stream? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
