Live TV stop playing after a few seconds

I seems to be having a common issue; Live TV stop working after a few seconds.

 

Can someone please help?

Why do you thinks this is common?

 

What type of Live TV?  Is this paid IPTV streams? Random Internet found IPTV m3u? or HDhomerun?

 

More detail of channels, type, and logs required.

through a google search, I noticed a few people posting about the same issue; however couldn't locate a solution.

Is this a paid subscription? If you are just using streams you have found on the internet they will be oversubscribed in terms of the allowed streams. As new users connect to the stream other users get kicked off.

 

This is the usual reason for streams closing down after a few seconds.

 

Generally emby has no problem with m3u.

The transcoding stops after 27 seconds. I took the source url from the log file and plugged it into Vlc and Vlc does the same thing.

What this means is that your source only provides about 27 or so seconds and then disconnects. I guess we're supposed to keep automatically reconnecting but that's not something we've added support for at this point.
