mystic.bertie 23 Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 I just recently installed the Android app, i tried the download feature, nothing happens at all. I can get the sync feature to work, i can also download using my laptop browser or Emby Theatre app. Is there a fix for this? Can someone please tell me where the 'synced' files are stored on my phone. many thanks
Luke 40070 Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 What version of Android? I just tested this, with no problem found.
mystic.bertie 23 Posted January 14, 2017 Author Posted January 14, 2017 Its 6.0.1 should there be something to indicate a download is in progress? Where would it be downloaded to?
Luke 40070 Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Yes it triggers an android notification, and the notification indicates the path to the download.
Solution Guest asrequested Posted January 14, 2017 Solution Posted January 14, 2017 I had this when I got my new phone. You have to look in your settings in the phone and make sure it's set to allow the app permission to store. 2
CBers 7114 Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Yes it triggers an android notification, and the notification indicates the path to the download. Just tried downloading, after giving Storage permissions (thanks @Doofus), and it completed OK, but no path indication, just the OPEN option, unless that's what you mean?
Luke 40070 Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Yea. I'm going to add the permission request to the download function so that it happens on demand. 2
Guest asrequested Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 (edited) It would be nice to either set the download path or be informed as to where it is. You have to dig around, to find the files. Edited January 15, 2017 by Doofus 1
