"Watched" status not updating in .nfo

Recommended Posts

Anyone has been having trouble with the Watched status lately?

I noticed that my "Next Up" list is somehow frozen because when I watch something... it gets the checkmark in the poster, but the .nfo file of that media doesn't get updated, so Emby doesn't really recognizes that it has been seen, and keeps showing me Watched media in NextUp list.

Manually removing the .nfo hasn't helped.

Anyone?

Also... not permissions issue. I give a full 777 on Linux permissions, and even simulate Emby user editing the .nfo within the Docker, and it writes OK.

Here it goes:

-- HOME SCREEN

It says WATCHED, just after watching... allright

-- In the NEXT UP

It STILL shows that episode! I just watched it!

-- NFO File

In NFO. Says FALSE for Watched.

---------------

Logs attached (did some manual marking and unmarking of watched if it helps...)

ps: There's some error related do imageprocessing... maybe explains why it still don't get automatically thumbs and banners?

Just FYI - the nfo file is not where watched status is normally stored so I wouldn't use that as a guide for anything.  There is an option to sync the status to the nfo but this is only so that external programs that try to utilize that data can and it is limited to a single user.

Okay good to know.

Anyway, wherever Emby stores it... it isn't being used to update "NextUp" and remove from "Resume"
