activity log, multiple entries for start/stop

Just wondering why when watching a show the activity log shows constant start/stop events for what was watched even though it was only started once and stopped at the end. When watching something with Kodi I get one start event and one stop event. When using the Apple TV, I have seen up to 20+ events for the same video.

Thanks

I will grab a fresh one tonight. There were some from last on my kodi box where i know i stopped and started while testing  my receiver before it went up in smoke that way i know for sure nothing was a start and stop that actually happened.

Thanks

Finally got the chance to get back to this. Ok, attached are all my logs. I watched a movie and a show on my Apple TV and it in the activity log it shows I started and stopped each one twice. I never stopped or pause either one. For a remote user it is showing tons of starts and stops but I can not say if they paused at all or not.

Playing times were at 8:22 and about 9:43 or 9:45.

Here are logs from last night. In the Activity Log in Reports it shows a total of 10 start & stop events. I started it twice and stopped twice because the show just ended 15 seconds for the end. The next show i watched which I didn't include ffmpef logs, shows i started and stopped twice but i only started it once.

Yea everything is working, just found the activity log odd. I don't use it much but still wanted to ask. Here is a screen shot. The user Doug is a remote user so I can't say if he is stopping or starting that many times.

It's a mix of start and stop. Sometimes there is a matching number of each sometimes one has more then the other.

Thanks

If you don't mind, it would actually be better to recreate the issue again and then do a screenshot of the server dashboard, since that will display the time as well. I'd like to compare them. Thanks.

Beginning. I had to restart Taboo at the end cause like I mentioned above it stopped with 15 seconds at the end. So it should just be 2 starts (9:15 and 9:54) and 2 stops (9:54 and 9:55). i never paused or stopped it during play.

Going to try this weekend to get a fresh log and screen shots without a remote user. The show last night I tried to watch on the device stopped at the end and had many starts and stops cause it just kept stopping so not good to troubleshoot this case.

@@corey Sorry its taken so long to get back to you on this. Here are screen shots and logs from last night. I only watched one show and it shows it was started and stopped twice. There was only one remux log. In the main log you will see tons of starts and stops from another use but they are remote so can say if its actually starting and stopping on his Apple TV.

I saw there was an update to the app last night for me. I just checked the server dashboard and for all 4 shows I watched last night on the device, it had one start and one stop now. Not sure you implemented your fix but if you did, thank you! The remote user still had a bunch of stops and starts but I don't know if #1 he updated the app yet #2 his internet sucks so i never know if they are real start and stops.

Thanks!
