Scan media library failed

Hello again,

After I've added a local folder to my library I keep getting a scan error message.

Any idea how I can solve this?

Did you upgrade a really old install or was this a fresh install?

I first uninstalled the old emby server files and then installed the latest build.

Depends on what you selected during the uninstall.  I assume there are the same options in OSX as Windows to uninstall all traces.  Is that what you did here before re-installings?  Or just a basic uninstall which only removes the system folder?

Found a solution. 

I deleted rm -rf ~/.config/mediabrowser-server and now everything seems to be working properly.

It looks like you have some remnants from a very old installation. try shutting down the server, then deleting the folder

/Users/mjeshurun/.config/mediabrowser-server

Then start the server back up, and now it use the following for program data:

/Users/mjeshurun/.config/emby-server
