PenkethBoy 2066 Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Hi Was just looking at some NFO's and noticed that the TVMaze plugin is getting a little carried away adding entries to the NFO files for TVShow, Season and Episodes an example from "Eureka" TVShow.nfo ...... </episodeguide> <season>-1</season> <episode>-1</episode> <status>Ended</status> <tvmazeid>542</tvmazeid> <tvmazeid>542</tvmazeid> <tvmazeid>542</tvmazeid> <tvmazeid>542</tvmazeid> <tvmazeid>542</tvmazeid> <tvmazeid>542</tvmazeid> <tvmazeid>542</tvmazeid> <tvmazeid>542</tvmazeid> <tvmazeid>542</tvmazeid> <tvmazeid>542</tvmazeid> <tvmazeid>542</tvmazeid> <tvmazeid>542</tvmazeid> <tvmazeid>542</tvmazeid> <tvmazeid>542</tvmazeid> </tvshow> I guess its every time a scan/refresh is done another one is added? My assumption is this is the plugin doing this? I hope the solution will remove the extra entries rather than just stop the extras
VladTepz 47 Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 I just took a quick look after reading this and it looks like I'm having the same issue. Though from the few shows I checked, it only seems to be affecting my tvshow.nfo's It may be unrelated, but I am also seeing a lot off TvMaze errors in my log. 2016-10-07 05:30:08.0957 Error App: Error in TvMazeSeasonProvider.HasChanged *** Error Report *** Version: 3.1.179.0 Command line: C:\Users\Mike\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\System\MediaBrowser.ServerApplication.exe Operating system: Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200.0 Processor count: 4 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True Program data path: C:\Users\Mike\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server Application Path: C:\Users\Mike\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\System\MediaBrowser.ServerApplication.exe Unable to cast object of type 'MediaBrowser.Controller.Entities.TV.Season' to type 'MediaBrowser.Controller.Entities.TV.Episode'. Happy2Play 9316 Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 I see the same on my test machine with tvshow.nfo. Since my primary servers use series.xml it only applies tvmaze as website for every series. Example <Website>http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/4/arrow</Website>
PenkethBoy 2066 Posted October 7, 2016 Author Posted October 7, 2016 for me its all three nfo's @@VladTepz that error was fixed as i had it as well - have you got the latest version mine is 3.0.6112.40024 which i tested for @@softworkz and i assumed he had released it might also be that my version causes the problem in the season and episode nfo's

PenkethBoy 2066 Posted October 12, 2016 Author Posted October 12, 2016 Just refreshed eureka nfo when i posted originally i had 14 just now 16 - this could be the periodic refresh that emby does - dont remember doing one for a while on TV now 18 adding two each time?
Happy2Play 9316 Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 (edited) Just refreshed eureka nfo when i posted originally i had 14 just now 16 - this could be the periodic refresh that emby does - dont remember doing one for a while on TV now 18 adding two each time? Ya depending on which nfo you look at but I would have to double check but I think my series.nfo doubles and season and episode add one. *When a "Refresh" is done at Series level two entries are added to Series.nfo and Season.nfo, and one entry on Episode.nfo.
