blade005 175 Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 With College Football and NFL seasons starting up in the States, a multi-screen option for Live TV would be a nice addition to the Emby feature set. I am thinking of what the WatchESPN app offers thru their Web Browser access. The ability to open a multi-screen window that breaks into four (4) screens that allows you to select streams (Live or Replay) for each and then go full screen. Audio is from whichever of the four screens you have as active. I can accomplish the same right now with the HDHomeRun Quick View TV app. I open multiple instances of the Windows app and then snap them to each corner on my 110" projector screen. Equivalent of four (4) 55" screens. Would be nice if this were a remote friendly option from within Emby Theater and the WebUI clients. I have only seen it in Web Browsers at the moment and not any of the Win10 UWP apps (FS GO, NBCSn, WatchESPN). But, Fox Sports Go just released a multi-screen solution for their Apple TV app. https://techcrunch.com/2016/08/26/fox-sports-go-hits-apple-tv-allows-viewing-of-four-games-at-once/ 16

ebr 15549 Posted October 31, 2019 Posted October 31, 2019 Just got a feature request topic closed for essentially this same ask, Guess I won't hold my breath Hi. It was closed because it was a duplicate of this one. We need to keep requests to a single topic or we have no hope of being able to track interest. Thanks.

Bottles51 70 Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 Maybe even the choice to have your live tv or movie on and music playing at the same time.
ctyokley 1 Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 I would love to see this too.. but not just limited to sports (yes i want sports too... ), but also news. Or any other type of multiviews we can think of... That best fits the users needs. IE .. Dynamic multiviews..
ptmuldoon 0 Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 I know this is an old post I'm resurrecting, but a quick góogle search took me to it, and I would love to see this as well.
nweishar 13 Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Resurrection of the dead post. Happening here

No. I have Emby LiveTV setup for my remote kids to watch a few streams since they are setup to use it already for recordings. For my TV viewing I have TiviMate go to my IPTV provider directly (m3u and xmltv files). TiviMate provides a much richer experience than Emby for Live TV, whereas Emby shines at playing movie and tv show recordings IMO. Edited February 7 by BillOatman 1

Unfortunately there is no single perfect solution. Channels is the best back-end server, Emby has a much more friendly user interface, and TiviMate is the best by a mile for multi-view solutions.
