Wasapi + AC3 = No sound

To day when I wanted to play a video clip, then there where no sound when playing video with AC3.

If I play AAC there is sound.

I use Wasapi and I have not changed a thing, only change I can see is that emby has updated it self.

 

If I change audio render to default, then AC3 plays fine.

Assuming that you have tried other files of the same type and got the same result, can you share a sample of the file? Also, can you post a screenshot of your audio config?

Weird things. A couple rebooting later, and same settings as normally used plays AC3 again.

When wasapi didn't work I had no audio in menu's.

I haven't changed a thing in Windows sound panel (only confirmed settings) and changed Emby back to wasapi and playing video between rebooting.

It might be a device recognition glitch. If you're using WASAPI set the device to your receiver.
