Just wanting to know ensure whether I spend money on the app called channels for live tv on TVOS or save that money for an emby premium subscription. I too and deciding between buying Channels or waiting for Live TV playback on the Apple TV 4. Using a HDHomerun Connect if it matters. I saw that the folks behind the Channels app are working on a DVR solution that will run on a back end that Channels will communicate with. gene0915 Posted August 26, 2016 Share Posted August 26, 2016 I too am really curious about this. In the mean time, i purchased the Channels app and it works wonderfully on the Apple TV 4! I have virtually every 'streaming box' you can think of. As time goes on, I'm really gravitating towards the Apple TV 4, and having Emby pull in live TV on the ATV4 will be the Holy Grail for me.
