User and search icons missing when custom skin applied

Hi,

 

Just like to report what looks like a bug.

 

When a custom skin is applied the search and user icons that normally appear in the top right of the ET screen disappear.  You can still access the user menu by hitting esc or backspace, but I can't find a way to search.

 

Only occurs in the windows client, web ET is fine.

Luke.  Any idea what the problem is with this?  My wife would definitely like to have the search icon available when using ET with my theme applied
