Next Up section sometimes shows an episode twice

I've seen this before and it might be from the same show. I looked at about 10 shows and they were all fine. It lists the episode as next up like it should and then it lists it again right next to it. I checked to make sure I didn't have 2 copies of the same episode.

Is it perhaps that the episode was just added to your system and a library scan/clean db hasn't run yet so you have both the real version and the "missing" version still in the library?

 

The next time this happens, enter the proper season for the episode and see if it shows twice there - once real and once missing.

Will do. I am not sure if a Library Scan was done before hand or not. I think the episode came out yesterday or the day before. I haven't done a Clean DB in long time. 

 

I will report back if I see it again and follow your steps.

Wanted to update that it is still happening. I scan, clean scan. As far as I can tell it only happens to this one show. No idea why. There have been a couple of new episodes since I first posted this and it has happened every time.

 

Dang, I forgot to look up the season like you asked. I am heading away for the weekend but will check next week. 

 

Another thing I noticed on a different show, If the season doesn't have any artwork, the app will use the poster for the series but only show a trimmed down version of it. It cuts off the sides. I wanted to report it if no one else has.

I found another one that is acting weird as well. Not the same problem but similar. It is skipping an episode in the next up list.

 

I then remember I owned a fire tv so I loaded up the Emby client on that and was having the same problem so its something more then just the Apple TV so I will report this elsewhere.
