Renaming Files Already Cataloged... it is possible?

I have my collection and I would like to follow what emby recommend as standard.

It is possoble rename my current catalog?

 

 

this will affect my current watched movies/tv series?

Hi, welcome. We don't currently offer any renaming functions for existing content, if that's what you mean. But there are plenty of bulk renaming utilities out there that might help you.

Also, when I do the rename, my users will lost the watched status for each episode/movie (the green icon top right)?

I use filebot, watched status is linked to the items tmdb tvdb IDs so after renaming files you should then run a scan and everything should be fine (you could test with using just a couple of files first just to make sure though if you want)
