theusedversion 35
Would love the ability to have an extended search function that will scan the additional categories listed in the title. Maybe even include character names of the cast as well. I found myself wanting to watch a movie that takes place in Russia and wish I could do a search for Russia to bring up any movies that have this as a keyword or included in the plot somewhere. Many of my movies already come with plot keywords so it's an underutilized part of the metadata as far as I can tell. If this ability is already in Emby and I have somehow missed it, please close the topic.

jeffshead 3
I'm surprised this functionality is missing. I was wondering why I could not find some movies. Perfect example below: Movie Titles: Raiders of the Lost Arc (1981) Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) Search for "indiana" and the first movie in the list above is missing from the results! Hope this functionality is added soon. What does Emby use tags for if they are not being searched? Edited August 1, 2016 by jeffshead

sydlexius 243
It would be awesome if this could be further extended to index the subtitles as well!
