Darkjeje 11
So if I understand, it's a problem with my box which don't return correctly if she can play my movie ? What type of solution could you propose me ? Do you want to test my platform ? It is possible to force live play with a parameters in emby server or in emby for android TV ? I think of an available option for Beta tester only, for example
solabc16 379
Hello @@Darkjeje Can you post a screen shot of the 'Media Info' section from the WebUI, for the title you are testing with. We can compare that with what @@ebr has, and identify/eliminate any probing related issues. - James

ebr 14929
Media info looks fine but I forgot you were on an off-brand device. I was thinking you were on a Fire TV. Still, that device is running the same basic version of Android as a Fire (5.1.1). (long shot) Luke, is there any possibility there is a casing issue on the audio codec (MP2 vs mp2)? Never mind, that can't be it since it direct streams for me.
Darkjeje 11
If you want I can delete the audio track to test only the movie whitout sound.
Darkjeje 11
I tested this morning with no audio track, the movie is transcoding but with a better quality 40 fps. I had not seen that the movie was .ts, because all my movies are transcoding in .ts. I change all my playlist to .mp4. This evening I shall test the same movie but there .mp4 and I hope to be directplay.
solabc16 379
Hello @@Darkjeje Thanks for the feedback, could you send me your logs across please. (https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Synology-:-How-to-Send-us-Support-Logs) Was the sample file you provided in TS format as well? If so, then there still appears to be a discrepancy between how it behaves across platforms. - James

Yes it was. I didn't have the time yesterday, but this morning I tested the same movie in .mkv and it was not transcoding. But, because there is a but, I don't have any sound, and I don't know why. So I have a problem with my platform to detect if she can directplay or not the movie .TS. James, this evening, if I have the time, I send you my log. RanmaCanada 349
At this point I would suggest just getting a cheap android box, as the box you are using may never get proper support. http://www.gearbest.com/tv-box-mini-pc/pp_366821.html Then load this firmware on it, and you are good to go. http://kodiloaded.com/smf/index.php/topic,1567.0.html Google Translate À ce stade, je dirais simplement obtenir une boîte android pas cher, comme la boîte que vous utilisez peut jamais obtenir un soutien adéquat. http://www.gearbest.com/tv-box-mini-pc/pp_366821.html Puis charger le firmware sur elle, et vous êtes bon pour aller. http://kodiloaded.com/smf/index.php/topic,1567.0.html
solabc16 379
Hello @@Darkjeje Do you have the possibility to setup a minimal Emby Server on Windows, so you can test playback of the same file on your Freebox/Android device? I have just tested the same movie but in AAC for audio track and it was directplay. So with the MPEG audio layer 1/2 in .mkv, the movie is directplay but without sound, With the MPEG audio layer 1/2 in .TS, the movie is transcoding and the movie is cut in 2 part in the diagonal, so impossible to see.
