skinny1962 2
New Emby install on a used machine. Emby will not finish installing. It gets to the Microsoft Edge webpage trying to load http://localhost:8096/web/wizardstart.html and cannot reach this page. I am not able to access the log files. I have disabled all the plugins, cleared the history in the browser, and everything else I can think of to no avail. Any ideas? Help!! Thank you in advance. skinny1962 2
Yes, I have tried Chrome. Didn't work either. Now the computer is locking up at about 12 minutes in and showing DPC Watchdog Violation and rebooting. Always something!!
skinny1962 2
Should I uninstall Avast Anivirus?
skinny1962 2
Problem solved. After working on this for two days found out it was my Avast Antivirus. Just disabling it did not work. I had to uninstall it. Emby works great now. Thank you for your help HappytoPlay!
