Hello Community, I wanna ask, is there any way, to ONLY tunnel the M3U Connections through a Socks proxy witch is running?

I don't want to proxy all Connections on this Server, only the Connections to the Stream-Servers!

Thanks, Nice to Hear from you Guys.

And BTW: I Use Emby on Debian!

Sorry to resurrect a thread from over 2 years ago, but I'm in the same situation and am looking for a solution.

I would like to connect either via VPN or socks proxy to various streaming servers to primarily record content.  Ideally, ONLY the connection to the streaming services would be "encrypted / proxied / VPN" and I figured that socks proxy would be the best way to accomplish this.  Is this possible?

It all depends if your streaming services, like iptv providers, supports user connections by VPN/socks proxy etc. Most iptv providers blacklist VPN with a shared IP, but some allow VPN connections with a dedicated IP.

What is supported by your streaming service, you will have to find out by yourself by contacting your streaming service.
