spam_permi 1
Good morning, I want to configure the Live TV settings in my emby server, but I don't know what is the best free solution. My PC works with: Win 10 Emby Server Hauppauge USB HD Tunner (Win TV) DvbLink is expensive for me. I don't want to have Media Portal and Emby (it is redundant, no?). Is the NextPVR the last and only solution? Thank you.
pünktchen 1261
DvbLink is expensive for me. I don't want to have Media Portal and Emby (it is redundant, no?). Is the NextPVR the last and only solution? Why do you think MediaPortal and Emby is redundant? You don't have to install the MediaPortal Client Frontend but only the TVServer. It works the same way as NextPVR, DVBLink, ServerWMC or TVHeadend. If you don't like Linux than TVHeadend is out. If you don't have Windows Mediacenter installed than ServerWMC is out. If you don't want to spend money than DVBLink is out. So only NextPVR and MediaPortal are left. Just try them both and make your decision. (The NextPVR backend is propably easier to configure for a beginner i think)
