plessers@gmail.com 32 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Hello, Is it possible to prevent Emby from displaying self-generated thumbs of my movies in my picture library? I have pictures and movies from my digital camera in the same folder. Created picture library, and both content types are displayed Emby generates a preview of the movies: *-poster.jpg However, on the app, the preview is displayed on the movie, and the poster is displayed also as a picture, wich makes that every movie is displayed double: Is there a way to avoid this behavior? To hide the generated poster.jpg? kind regards, B 1
Solution Luke 38840 Posted January 27, 2016 Solution Posted January 27, 2016 It's resolved for the next release, thanks. 1
plessers@gmail.com 32 Posted February 3, 2016 Author Posted February 3, 2016 Super. Indeed, on the public interface, this has been resolved ( *-poster.jpg not displayed anymore) Thanx again @@Luke. Still that small issue: scaling of thumbs..... But I will post that in another thread.
plessers@gmail.com 32 Posted February 5, 2016 Author Posted February 5, 2016 aaaaaaaarghhhhhh. Another thing: the *-poster.jpg not displayed anymore in emby, but still on disk. Other applications recover those files and display them. Pretty confusing, because they display both.... (thumb AND video) Is it an option to use another extention so that only emby will recognise this as a thumb? kind regards, B
Luke 38840 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 for the next release we'll change photo album folders to save as folder.ext
plessers@gmail.com 32 Posted February 8, 2016 Author Posted February 8, 2016 OK, thanx. And "ext" will be something properiarity? I mean: it will not be picked up by Picasa, Plex, ....
Luke 38840 Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 No, that is something completely different that you should just make a separate feature request for
