Issue with new Emby QNAP Package

Hello All and Happy New Year 

 

Myself and many others I've spoken with on the QNAP forum are having issues with the folder structure from the last three packages. There were a change made to move ProgramData-Server out of the default location /share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/Emby/Emby to /share/MD0_DATA/Emby. According to QNAP_Stephane, the move was to 
 

 

 

Bring you a totally reworked version for Emby, need a clean reinstall

not call anymore MediaBrowser but Emby (/opt/Emby)

create in your user space a directory called Emby (create the share to access log, DB, Config ....) usefull for backup purpose or else..

 

But the change is not working too well with Emby server plugins. It crashes them when trying to either configure them or utilize them. Plugins in the earlier releases of the packages used to work just fine. I tried to manually created a folder called ProgramServer-Data under ../Emby/Emby and moved all the folders from /share/MD0_DATA/Emby to it but the server seems to ignore them and ask me to start from scratch. 

 

Additionally, I am not comfortable with any applications creating new shares in my nas box.
