I have successfully used the Kodi-plugin to direct stream shows on my ArchLinux based HTPC. I recently have bought the Nvidia Shield and wanted to use it for the same purpose i.e. HTPC. I have installed Kodi on it and added the emby plugin through the usual repository method. The setup was completed successfully just like it was done on my ArchLinux based HTPC. The issue lies when I try to view the media, it does not seem to work as it it keeps telling me to view the log file. Using ES Explorer I tried first to look at kodi's log file at /sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/temp/kodi.log but it doesn't seem to exist. How do I go about looking for it (or does emby have a equivalent log file on the server ) so that I can provide it to diagnose this issue? Also any idea why the streaming would not work? codec issue or does the emby plugin not work with Kodi on an Andriod OS? Please let me know your thoughts or/and suggestions. Thanks for your patience.
