SamES 890 Posted November 7, 2015 Share Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) It's still problematic. I fell into that trap when I added Home Movies. You can't assume the collection exists just by querying for the media type as the media could be in a different folder. In my case I have a couple of camera phone movie clips in a photo folder so the Home Movies menu item was being added when no collection existed. I can see that being a problem for home movies as the structure of home movies is generally one of deeply nested folders. For TV though, I think it is always a collection structure and not likely to be nested folders always starting from a Collection. Maybe check for Home Movies needs to be via Collections folder (ie: current method) and TV check via querying for media type. One thing I'm not sure of. I thought the server setting to create Movie and TV Views from from folders should be creating a virtual TV Collection, but no matter how I set it, it doesn't resolve this problem. I wonder what the correct way is to retrieve the virtual TV view?
