Did not unlock on fire tv stick

We recently decided to unlock emby on our fire tv stick so we spent the $4.89 and it isnt letting us use it... does it take a while or did it not work?

What, exactly, happened when you went through the purchase process?

 

Did it unlock right then for that session?

 

Does the Stick always have access to the internet/Amazon store?

we had 500 coins from purchasing the fire stick, so we used those. we went into the app and it asked us if wed like to unlock for 489 coins and we said yes, it always has internet access, but when we open the emby app it flashes our library for a second then we only have settings and logout to choose from

Okay, that isn't an unlock problem.  The app is fully functional except for playback when not unlocked.

 

That sounds like an authorization problem of some sort.  Try a different user.

Amazon charges you tax. 500 coins is not enough for the app plus tax, most likely, Here in NC, my purchase, with tax, was 522 coins.
