mekevinb 0
I would like to point out that as a test I installed Ubuntu and walked through the install process for Emby. Something happened during the install on Ubuntu that does not happen on Arch. Is it significant that this never pops up in Arch?
thefirstofthe300 291
No. That is Ubuntu only as far as I know. Arch requires a person to set everything up themselves. Very few assumptions are ever made. Edited September 28, 2015 by thefirstofthe300
fc7 123
Indeed. That's only a Ubuntu installation step. In CentOS/Fedora there is a default user for Emby and instead of during installation the user can change it later using a configuration file.
