ProphetSe7en 15
After I changed hard drive and updated my server I can`t get direct playback to work from my kodi computer. Path is sett to plugin, and not server\movies as it used to be. Any tip on where to start looking to sort this out?
Angelblue05 4130
Can you post a log of you playing something? http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/17599-how-to-report-a-problem/

Angelblue05 4130
If you are looking to use direct paths instead of plugin redirection, then you just need to enable use local paths in the add-on setting and reset/resync your library via launching the Emby add-on. Again, not sure why you'd want to do this. Looks like playback started within 1 second of you initiating it.
ProphetSe7en 15
It works fine the way it is. I were under the impression that when path under movie information in Kodi were set to "plugin:" and not "\\server" there were something wrong and the movie were playing over http.
Angelblue05 4130
No. This is how default settings work. Plugin path will allow you to easily switch between direct pkay, direct streaming and transcode. It also allows us to control what happens before playback so then we can add features such as emby intros, or validate parental access before playback.
