LurchZA 4
I have recently done an in place upgrade to Windows 10 Pro from Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Emby Version 3.0.5675.1 was running as a service. After login when the upgrade completed I now no longer have the MediaBrowser listed under services.msc. Has anybody else encountered this? Anybody know how to get it back? I can obviously just reinstall Emby, but just wondering if there are other options.
Solution jluce50 118 Posted August 6, 2015 Solution Share Posted August 6, 2015 I think reinstalling is the best and easiest option. When you uninstall just make sure you don't opt to remove any data or settings and then after you install everything should be just as it was.

ebr 14913
You don't need to uninstall. Just install over the top and it should take care of it. The Windows 10 upgrade removes any services it doesn't recognize.

FrostByte 5049
Yep, I had to do the same thing last week myself. The good thing is that the service is now named Emby instead of Media Browser
