Is this Model supported for emby?

Cz I have tried to install accordingly to the installation thread but none of it can do.

 

Also, how do we know what series our model should be?

Even Samsung doesn't really enclose this info in their website.

Unfortunately the Emby Samsung app will not load on your TV at this time as your TV uses the newer Tizen operation system which isn't supported yet.  You could try sideloading it from USB, but I'm not sure that will work either.

 

You have a 2015 / J series TV from what I can tell

 

U - LED

A - area you bought the TV, I think A is Europe (N = North America)

48 - this should be the diagonal size of your TV in inches

J - Series / year release of TV (F = 2013, H = 2014, J = 2015)

5500 - the model , higher numbers usually mean more options and more $$ of course

Yeah, though just to add side-loading won't work either - sadly its a different operating system so it will need porting but I currently don't have plans to do so (I'll help anyone who want to do it)

 

And as a minor note, E is Europe, A i think is Asia / Australia

I should have looked here first :-( Just brought a JS7000 and was so looking forward to having the Emby app but it looks like this is another short lived project

PLEASE tell us on how to contribute for try to accomplish this.
