AlwinHummels 134 Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 What's the best way to use path substitution when my local path on Emby is as follow: /volume1/music /volume1/movie etc... Now I use this /volume1/music --> \\IP from server\music /volume1/movie --> \\IP from server\movie and so on. Is this the correct way? Or should I use smb://IP from server/music or maybe even better nfs://IP from server/music I use Kodi on windows 10 and on 2 raspberry Pi2 systems. Thanks for all help

Solution 1ch_h4lt 6 Posted August 18, 2015 Solution Posted August 18, 2015 Hi AlwinHummels I am using following Pathsubstitution with success: /media/Serien -> \\server.fritz.box\video\Serien /media/Filme -> \\server.firtz.box\video\Filme i am using the DNS Server of my fritz.box (Internet Router) but you can also use the ip address /media/Serien -> \\192.168.x.x\video\Serien remember to safe your user and password in the emby for kodi plugin. have fun! 1
