Emby works but cannot get cloud data (e.g. plugin catalog, metadata)

I've installed Emby Server on my mac (Yosemite 10.10.4), works fine except that it cannot get any data from the internet (like plugin lists, metadata, images, ...). I've also installed Emby Server on my Synology, where I don't have this issue but it's not a workable solution since the NAS cannot run Emby in a performant way.

 

This is the error I find in the logs when go to the catalog of plugins - any ideas?
