I'm not sure if this should be requested in the server section of client section, but here goes.

Often I like to enjoy some entertainment right before going to bed, downside is (especially with TV shows) I may end up falling asleep and I blow through half a season of a show, requiring me to have to uncheck them as watched later.

Is it possible to implement a NetFlix like feature that lets say after a certain time (maybe 9 PM) it occasionally asks if you are still there/watching?

I don't know if anyone else thinks this would be a neat feature, but I sure as heck would :)

This would need to be implemented in the client apps.

I mostly use the Web Client, Roku, iPad and Iphone. Of course the one place it is implemented is the one thing I never use :(

Yes, yes the samething happens to me. My watched indicators mean nothing the next day after a couple cold ones and some tv.

This would be a great addition.

Maybe to not be too annoying it could prompt you at the start of a new episode/playlist item. Something like press play in the next 10 seconds to continue.

@@techywarrior, not a bad idea as long as it is switchable...

Apple TV does this. Every third episode in a playlist. If I remember correctly.

Yes, absolutely it would have to be an option.

Lol, I don't have cable TV but I think it's Time Warner or maybe DirecTV where every couple of hours if you don't use the remote this big message covers 90% of the screen and says it's going to turn off. WTF, apparently they have never heard of watching a movie or sitting down and watching TV without changing channels constantly.

yeah, Foxtel in Australia does the same thing, not sure of the timing though.

Every 3 episodes seems reasonable and not too bothersome!
