Password Reset Not Working

Hi I setup android user that needed a password now if i log into server on the server none of the users wanna work

 

Tries rest password but still im getting error username or password incorrect 

 

I am unable to get into server at all but the wmc pc can still see server and works fine

if you can login from the wmc app then it sounds like more of a connectivity problem then a password problem

yes but i fixed it by deleting users under appdata .....tks anyway

I have never been able to reset a password from a FireFox browser for some reason. If you're using FireFox try using another browser instead. Chrome works great for me.

My password works to login here, but it doesn't work to login to http://app.emby.media/. Please help.

The forum and your Emby server have entirely different logins.

Sorry, but do you have a Emby server installed?  If so can you log in with your local user?

The forum and your Emby server have entirely different logins.

 

That isn't 100% true as it is possible to connect a forum account to your server and, thus, use that id/password to access it.  This is what we call Emby Connect but it must be setup for a user on your server.

Oh, sorry - I hadn't realised the link between the forum and Emby Connect (which I don't use, having found it more confusing than useful when I was first trying Emby).
