mdgentile 0
I can connect to my pc server fine with my One Plus One but no matter what I do can't get my wife's Nexus 5 to do the same. I've tried reinstalling the app a few times and signing in with Emby Connect, but nothing works. It always says 'server unreachable'. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
mdgentile 0
I tried all the suggestions in the tutorial with no luck so far. The Nexus 5 cannot reach the server via the local url or the remote, while my phone can. For proxy settings in the APN, the Nexus was already blank, whereas in my phone there was a proxy setting, yet I could connect fine. I'm stumped. Luke 37166
are you able to connect to the server using the web interface from your nexus 5? that would be good info to help proceed further.
mdgentile 0
I can log in, but no servers are available to connect to.
mdgentile 0
Same thing on my phone actually, no servers available. I can access from my phone by using the your.Server.Ip.Here:8096/mediabrowser method. I cannot from the Nexus.

mdgentile 0
There are a dozen log files, that's the first one. I can post others if you need them.
Luke 37166
what are you typing into the manual address screen? that error message suggests it's something invalid

mdgentile 0
When I first launch I get the Welcome to Emby page, which then prompts me to log in with Emby Connect, which I do. It says connecting but then goes to the server select page, showing no servers and Sign in With MB Connect at the bottom. If I hit Change Server to manually enter, I put the IP of the internal server, which is 192.168.2.20. It just says server unreacahable. Same if I try the external IP. I don't have to do anything on the other phone. As soon as I installed the app it found the server on its own. If I navigate to app.Emby.media and log in, it says no servers are available to connect to. This happens on my phone as well.
Luke 37166
Have you linked your server with emby connect? That could be why the list is empty
mdgentile 0
I had not. Never thought of that as it worked on the one phone fine. It is now working on the Nexus and Web Access now works on both phones. Thank you very much!
