Carlo 4480 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 I'd love to see the ability to popup the show/movie synopsis when you pause. So many times someone has walked into the room when I just put a movie on and asked what it's about and who's in the film. This would be ideal!
Carlo 4480 Posted February 15, 2015 Author Posted February 15, 2015 That doesn't work correctly on all clients in MB3. Some clients don't support seek (no Rewind or Fast Forward) if transcoding (another issue). So if you stop, there may not be a resume and you have to start from the beginning. Also wouldn't work if using DLNA casting on some devices. For example I go to my computer, find a movie to watch and cast it to an xBox. With the xBox remotes I can pause but not exit and resume. I'm not sure this would even be doable for DNLA clients but just thought I'd throw out the suggestion.
ebr 15435 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 MBC will do this now and I believe MBT will too.
Koleckai Silvestri 1150 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Or you could stop and resume Seems annoying especially since the resume status is only tracked about 50 percent of the time. To see it on the Roku app, you have to exit the app, reload the app and navigate to the item again.

I'd people are having issues with resume points, then I would suggest people raise a separate issue and log as much evidence as possible.
