iPenguin02 5 Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 You should incorporate an identify button for individual episodes. This will allow users to keep whatever naming structure they have and they would have the ability to manually link it to tvdb. At this point if the file is not linked to tvdb the user either has to redo his entire naming structure or manually enter the data, which is a huge pain.
ebr 15665 Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 "Identifying" an episode amounts to making sure that the season and episode number are filled in correctly so that basically already exists.

ebr 15665 Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 I mean, the identifying features of an episode (assuming it already is under the proper series) are just the season and episode numbers and those are editable right there on the edit page.

Does this apply to specials that are in the correct series / folder but do not follow the same naming requirement.
