Plain_Lola 0 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Hiya, I'm pretty new to all this so I'll try to explain my issue the best I can. I'm using MB with my Roku and have my external hard drive plugged into my Macbook. When I go to the plugins page, under the "Install" section, it always says, "This plugin must be installed from with in the app you intend to use it in." However, I see no options for plugins on the Roku channel. I don't know what this means and therefore can't install any plugins. Can someone help a noob out? Thanks!
Luke 40116 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 At the top of the page there is a set of tabs for server plugins, MB Classic plugins and MB Theater plugins. Make sure you're browsing with the server tab selected and that shouldn't happen.
Plain_Lola 0 Posted February 6, 2015 Author Posted February 6, 2015 Ah, I'm a dunce. I just realized I have to pay for the server plugin first. Thanks for your help!
Luke 40116 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 No, it's because of what I mentioned in post #2. The vast majority of the plugins are free and open source. Enjoy.
